President

FROM THE PRESIDENT

According to the wisest man that ever lived, King Solomon, there is time for everything under the sun. There is time to nurture and develop an idea, share the idea to garner interest, initiate the implementation of the idea by engaging people, and eventually implement the idea for the benefit of all players. This is the springboard for actions in our esteemed Nigerian Canadian Association, Saskatoon.

I acknowledge the brilliancy, tenacity, and commitment of some of our distinguished leaders in Nigeria and in the diaspora who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the association attained its current outstanding national and international status. They have established a reputable, structured, and quality leadership that we celebrate worldwide.

Building on this laudable foundation, we shall recognize the Nigerian geopolitical regions and groupings for social interactions and development. I am convinced that such organised geo-political regions will not only bring leadership closer to the people but ensure effective grassroots participation in leadership while maintaining and sustaining Nigerian cultural diversity in the diaspora. We shall not only integrate and ensure oneness but harmonize the inclusiveness of regions in our leadership in the diaspora. We shall work against any divisiveness because we understand that united we stand but divided we fall.
